Access for All advocates for an accessible community where people with disabilities are provided with equal opportunities in all aspects of life.  We promote Universal Design, keep people informed and connected, and publicly celebrate outstanding efforts to increase accessibility. We are reaching out to our friends and neighbors to ask you to join us in making this mission a success. 

Access for All accomplished much in 2010:

* Partnered with the County Clerk-Recorder’s Office to secure a Help America Vote grant to improve voting accessibility

* Raised community awareness through the annual SLO Life Without Limits Week, including the Access for All Film Fest, Paul Wolff Accessibility Advocacy Awards Program and the Abilities Fair

* Launched a survey on local hospitals to improve services for persons with disabilities

* Provided expanded web-based information and resources through www.sloaccessforall.org.

In 2011, Access for All will continue this important work that celebrates and educates about the importance of inclusivity in San Luis Obispo County as well as:

* Advocacy with local businesses to improve accessibility

* Community outreach and education about disabilities

Access for All is an all volunteer group and maintains no overhead or office.  Contributions to Access for All are held under management by the SLO County Community Foundation and have been for over seven years, insuring maximum stewardship and effective use of funds. 

We need your help to continue this important work that is likely to have an impact on your future. Access for All is holding an annual fund drive to raise $15,000 to cover operations.  All funds raised go directly to support activities.  A modest donation to Access for All goes a long way.
